Highfield Academy: Momentum Electric Marine Europe showcases its electric outboards to the Highfield network

Organized by Highfield France at Marina Baie des Anges, the very first Highfield Academy brought together the brand’s entire sales force for an immersive experience centered on its boats and marine solutions.

Momentum Electric Marine Europe took part in the event to introduce its electric outboards to Highfield dealers from France and across Europe through real-world sea trials that proved highly convincing.

Highfield France launched the first Highfield Academy

This first edition of the Highfield Academy was initiated and organized by Highfield France, with the ambition of bringing its sales network together around a strong hands-on experience. Over 24 hours, teams explored the brand’s world, discovered a complete fleet, and took part in dynamic sea trials in a premium setting.

The event brought together 40 sales representatives with one shared goal: strengthen team spirit, embody the brand’s momentum, and support its ambitions. A fleet of 10 boats was available for the occasion, including the limited editions Route du Rhum – Destination Guadeloupe, tenders, the Coaster range, and the new ADV9.

In this context, the presence of Momentum Electric Marine Europe made perfect sense: introducing electric propulsion to a network of professionals directly involved in the distribution and promotion of the Highfield offering.

Real-world Momentum motor trials

Throughout the day, the Momentum teams were able to have their electric outboards tested on various Highfield tenders, under real-world conditions. Two configurations drew particular attention:

These trials allowed dealers to experience the advantages of electric propulsion on small boats in a very concrete way, with immediate sensations from the very first minutes on the water.

Silence, responsiveness and boating pleasure

For many participants, electric propulsion was still something new. The sea trials therefore played a key role in changing perceptions, quickly highlighting several strengths: ease of use, smooth acceleration, motor responsiveness, and above all the silence while underway.

This quiet operation made a particularly strong impression. On a tender, where comfort and simplicity matter, using a silent electric outboard immediately changes the onboard experience. The absence of noise increases the feeling of smoothness, improves passenger comfort, and creates genuine enjoyment on the water.

Participants also emphasized the power of the motors, describing it as especially impressive. On boats of this size, this level of performance surprised many dealers and helped shift their perception of electric propulsion.

A strategic meeting point for the Highfield network

Beyond the product trials, this day created a concrete encounter between the Highfield teams and Momentum’s electric solutions. By giving dealers the opportunity to test the motors on the water themselves, Highfield France offered an ideal setting to discover a different approach to boating – quieter, smoother, and consistently high-performing.

For Momentum Electric Marine Europe, this presence was an opportunity to demonstrate the relevance of its motors on Highfield tenders and to highlight solutions capable of meeting market expectations. The very positive reaction of participants shows that there is genuine interest in electric motors that are easy to integrate, pleasant to use, and suited to the practical needs of professionals and private users alike.

Momentum U2 and M10: two outboards suited to Highfield tenders

The trials conducted during the Highfield Academy illustrated the complementarity of two models from the Momentum range.

The Momentum U2 on a tender under 3 m

The U2 demonstrated that a small tender can benefit from efficient electric propulsion that is easy to handle and enjoyable to use. On this type of boat, silence and manoeuvrability are essential, and the motor delivered on participants’ expectations.

The Momentum M10 on a 3.40 m tender

Fitted to a larger boat, the M10 showcased a higher power output while retaining the qualities of electric propulsion: smoothness, comfort, responsiveness, and silence. This configuration clearly showed that it is possible to combine performance and ease of use on a 3.40 m tender.

Conclusion

This first Highfield Academy, organised by Highfield France at Marina Baie des Anges, perfectly fulfilled its role: introducing the brand, bringing together its sales network, and giving teams direct hands-on contact with the products on the water.

The trials of the U2 and the M10 on Highfield tenders confirmed several key points: consistent installation across the boats, silent operation, excellent responsiveness, and power described as impressive by many participants. All of these factors reinforce the role of electric propulsion in the future of boating and open promising prospects for the Highfield network and for Momentum.
