From 8 to 13 September 2026, Momentum Electric Marine Europe exhibited at the Cannes Yachting Festival, in the Vieux Port, on stand POWER 112. Six days to meet boat owners, tender users, shipyards and dealers from all over Europe, and to answer one question in person: what does an electric outboard change on a small boat?
Two motors, one idea
The stand showed the two models of the range side by side. The U2, 2.5 kW, weighs 9 kg without its 8 kg battery: a tender or a small sailboat motor you carry in one hand, with a quick-swap MB-2 battery that gives 29 nautical miles at 3 knots. The M10, 10 kW, is the outboard for RIBs, day boats and sailboats up to 38 feet, with the torque of a 15 to 20 HP petrol engine, available instantly and in silence.
What visitors did on the stand
They lifted the U2 to feel the weight. They took the MB-2 battery out and put it back without a tool. They compared the M10 shaft lengths on the demonstration frame, tried the MT-1 and MT-2 remote controls, and asked about charging, range and winter storage. Many left with the brochure and the address of their nearest dealer.
